Exercise After C-Section

If you have underwent a Cesarean section or C-section while delivering, you may need extra attention and care. Give some time for your body to heal and eat as your doctor advices. Take complete rest for at least six weeks and when you feel better, go and inform your doctor who will examine you and decide whether your body is fit to take some strain. Exercises After C-Section

Try to increase by repeating 25-30 initially and then if you feel stronger then continue with this ab exercise after C-section.
Exercise-2: Lie on the back and keep your legs in such a way that your thighs are perpendicular to the floor and your legs are parallel to the floor. Bring your hands behind each ear with the elbows pointing to the sides. Take a deep breath and exhale by lifting the bottom part of the body off the floor. Come back to the original position gently and wait for some seconds then you can repeat the exercise. Try to increase the number by repeating and to start off with, 8-12 is sufficient.

Exercise-3: Lie on your back and get your hands behind the head. Lift your upper part and touch the right knee with the left elbow. Try maximum not to move your legs during this process of exercise. Wait for a second and again start by lifting the upper part of the body. This time touch the left knee with the right elbow. Start with a count of 20 but slowly increase the count to 25. This will surely help you to shed the extra fat seen from the sides of the abdomen.

Exercise-4: Lie straight on the floor and then place a pillow on the abdomen. Bend the legs with knees pointing upward and your feet flat on the floor. Take a deep breath and as you are in this posture, try to lift the pillow the maximum you can. Now exhale gently and get back to the starting position and take rest for 2-3 seconds. Do this exercise for a count of 10 every day and increase by 1 count everyday.

While doing these exercises, always make sure that you are comfortable and the moment you have any complication stop it and see your doctor to avoid further complications. s
